MOVES: UK Rexam names Chipchase as new CEO

TORONTO (ICIS news)--Graham Chipchase will take over as chief executive of Rexam, effective on 1 January, the UK-based international consumer packaging firm said on Friday.

Chipchase is currently group director of Rexam’s plastics packaging.

He succeeds Leslie Van de Walle who was stepping down to “concentrate on … non executive interests”, the company said.

Rexam is described as the world's second largest consumer packaging group. It employs a staff of 24,000 in more than 20 countries.
