TORONTO (ICIS news)--Linde Nippon Sanso GmbH, a unit of Germany’s industrial gases and chemicals engineering group Linde, plans to build a gases plant at a new “clean tech” business park in Berlin, officials said on Tuesday.

The company had signed a letter of intent to build the facility, which would primarily supply gases for producers in the photovoltaic sector at the Berlin-Marzahn park, the city state’s economic development agency said.

Capacity details, timelines and financial terms were not disclosed.

According to the agency, firms building or planning to build plants at the park include German solar firm Inventux.

The park would have facilities to allow photovoltaic and solar firms to store large quantities of industrial gases, it added.
