HOUSTON (ICIS news)--ExxonMobil has restarted a heat pump at its Beaumont cracker in Texas after the pump temporarily tripped, a company spokesperson said on Thursday.

According to a public filing, the pump malfunction caused flaring and reduced operating rates over a period of about 14 hours on 9 December.

ExxonMobil did not respond to a query about the unit’s nameplate capacity.
