DuPont Texas cracker recovers from brief process upset

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--DuPont’s Orange cracker in Texas was back up and running following a brief process upset, a company spokesperson said on Friday.

The upset would have no market impact, the DuPont spokesperson said.

Spot ethylene offers were heard at 36.000 cents/lb ($794/tonne, €540/tonne) on Friday morning, within the 35.875-36.250 cents/lb range of trades so far this week.
