US weekly propylene stocks rise 15% - EIA

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--US propylene inventories grew by 15% in the week ended 25 December from a week earlier, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday.

US propylene stockpiles ended last week at 3.085m bbl.

Inventories were down by 18.6% from 3.790m bbl in the same week of 2008, according to EIA data.

Non-fuel use propylene, as defined by the EIA, is intended for petrochemical manufacturing, including polymer and chemical-grade propylene.
