SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Co (SATORP) has awarded a contract to US-based Elliott Co to build 17 compressor trains for the Middle Eastern company’s Jubail refinery.
Financial details of the contract were no disclosed.
The centrifugal trains for the refinery and petrochemical complex in ?xml:namespace>
The Jubail refinery complex, which is expected to process 400,000 bbl/day of Saudi heavy crude oil and produce petrochemicals, is expected to come on stream in 2013.
The $9.6bn (€6.72bn) project is a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and French oil company Total SA.
