SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Oman Polypropylene plans to shut its 340,000 tonne/year plant in Sohar in early February for scheduled maintenance, a source close to the company said on Wednesday.
The polypropylene (PP) plant would be shut for around two months, the source said.
Oman Polypropylene officials were not immediately available for comment.
Oman Oil owns a 40% stake in the PP maker, while LG International, Gulf Investment and International Petroleum Investment Co (IPIC) each hold a 20% stake in Oman Polypropylene.
