SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Polyester film producer Polyplex (Thailand) Public Co on Friday reported a 21% increase in its net income for the third quarter - October-December 2009 - as compared with the previous quarter, the company said in a statement.
Third-quarter consolidated net income was baht (Bt) 257m ($7.75m), up from a net income of Bt204m reported for the second quarter, July-September 2009, the statement added.
Polyplex’s total sales in the third quarter were Bt1.8bn as compared with Bt1.72bn in the second quarter, the statement said.
Net income for the nine-month period ending 31 December 2009 showed a 15% year-on-year decrease to Bt692m, the statement added.
