PRAGUE (ICIS news)--Ciech has agreed a seven-year contract worth around $560m (€409m) for toluene diamine (TDA) feedstock supplies from US group Air Products, the Polish chemical group said on Tuesday.
Covering the period from the beginning of 2012 to the end of 2018, the contract should see around $80m worth of TDA annually delivered to Ciech subsidiary Zachem for the production of toluene di-isocyanate (TDI), the company added.
Ciech last year completed an expansion of Zachem's TDI capacity from 60,000 tonnes/year to 75,000 tonnes/year with an investment of around €20m.
