SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Thailand’s PTT Chemical plans to restart two of its crackers in Mab Ta Phut in the second half of February, which are shut due to technical problems, a company official said on Wednesday.
The 515,000 tonne/year I-4 No 1 cracker would resume operations on 19 February while the 400,000 tonne/year I-4 No 2 cracker was expected to restart on 26 February, the source added.
Both facilities were taken offline on 10 February due to a power outage in the area.
Separately, a planned maintenance shutdown at the 460,000 tonne/year I-1 cracker would take place from 23 February to 29 March, she added.
