Thailand's PTT Chem gets on-spec product at I-4 No 1 cracker

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Thailand’s PTT Chemical achieved on-spec production at its 515,000 tonne/year I-4 No 1 naphtha cracker in Mab Ta Phut on Monday, as scheduled, a company official said.

The unit was taken off line on 10 February due to a power outage in the area, the official said, adding that some technical issues at the plant were also ironed out during the shutdown period.

PTT is also on track to shut its 460,000 tonne/year I-1 cracker at the same site for turnaround on Tuesday, the source added.
