Last December’s agreement for Glencore to acquire 50% plus one share in Biopetrol was now effective retroactively from 1 January 2010, Biopetrol said in a regulatory filing without disclosing financial terms.
Glencore, a financially strong partner with global trading activities, would help Biopetrol cope amid tough biofuels markets, it said.
