LONDON (ICIS news)--Brenntag has opened a new warehouse in Thailand and set up a new headquarters office in Mumbai to expand operations in the India and Asia-Pacific regions, it said on Wednesday.

The warehouse, in Samutprakarn Province, would enable the separate storage of pharmaceutical as well as food products, the Germany-based chemicals distributor said.

“The new warehouse here in Thailand will allow us to continue our strategy to become a full-line distributor and to further grow in the Asia-Pacific market,” said Henri Nejade, CEO of the company’s Asia-Pacific business.

Brenntag India, which has 15 staff in its new Mumbai office, was focused on various industry segments such as engineering plastics, pharma, agro, dyes, food and flavours, coatings and silicones, the company said in a statement.
