LONDON (ICIS news)--INEOS’s 320,000 tonne/year C6 linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) plant at Grangemouth, UK, will be back up on 2-3 March, slightly later than was initially expected, a company source said on Friday.
Force majeure was still in place on Friday.
PE producers were looking to increase PE prices by €50-80/tonne ($68-108/tonne), depending on the grade. Prices had risen by up to €100/tonne in February.
On Friday C6 LLDPE was trading around €1,220-1,250/tonne FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest ?xml:namespace>
