LONDON (ICIS news)--The European March styrene truck customer reference price (CRP) has been confirmed up €37/tonne ($51/tonne) from February, a producer and one consumer said on Tuesday.
The CRP was settled at €1,047/tonne FCA (free carrier) ?xml:namespace>
Most players had expected the number, which was in line with the free delivered (FD) barge contract price and was agreed last week.
Spot prices, meanwhile, held their ground despite lower energy and benzene levels. Offers for March loading were assessed at $1,340/tonne FOB (free on board)
On Monday, deals had been done at $1,340/tonne for March and $1,300/tonne for April.
