LONDON (ICIS news)--US biodiesel major Imperium Renewables has restarted its refinery after repairing damage caused by an explosion late last year, the company said on Wednesday.
Imperium said it restarted its 100m gal/year Grays Harbor plant in Washington, one of the largest in the ?xml:namespace>
The company closed the plant after a glycerine tank exploded in December.
“We are thrilled to be producing again,” said
“We have replaced the damaged equipment and redesigned the glycerine neutralisation system to ensure such a rupture won't happen again,” he added.
