AkzoNobel picks Kuehne + Nagel for paints distribution in Spain

TORONTO (ICIS news)--AkzoNobel has chosen Germany’s Kuehne + Nagel as contract logistics provider for decorative paints in Spain, Kuehne said on Wednesday.

Under a five-year contract, Kuehne would consolidate AkzoNobel decorative paints logistics at a 16,000 square-metre warehouse at Zaragoza in northern Spain, it said.

The facility was specially designed to comply with hazardous material regulations, it added.

Financial or volume details were not disclosed.

Kuehne + Nagel is focused on distribution in the chemical, pharmaceutical, consumer goods, aviation and automotive industries, among others.
