HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Huntsman’s Port Neches ethylene cracker in Texas will be off line for two weeks, market sources said on Friday, citing a disruption at the site earlier this week.
The shutdown followed a loss of steam at the site, which the company reported in a public filing on Monday.
Huntsman said it does not expect the disruption to impact downstream deliveries.
The company has 193,000 tonnes/year of ethylene capacity in Port Neches.
