CRUDE: Apr WTI $79.53/bbl, down 35 cents/bbl ; May BRENT $80.12/bbl, down 56 cents/bbl

Crude futures weakened further on Monday morning, undermined by a firmer US dollar and ongoing concerns over Greece’s debt problems.

NAPHTHA: First-half May cargoes were notionally priced at $728.50-731.50/tonne CFR (cost and freight) Japan, down $12-13/tonne from Friday’s close on the back of weakening sentiments in the European naphtha market.

Second-half May material was pegged at $724.50-727.50/tonne CFR Japan, while first-half June contracts were assessed at $721.00-724.00/tonne CFR Japan. Second-half June cargoes stood at $717.50-720.50/tonne CFR Japan.

BENZENE: Trading was lacklustre on Monday morning with limited indications heard. Prices for May loading cargoes slipped, with offers cited at $980/tonne FOB (free on board) Korea against a bid of $965/tonne FOB Korea.

TOLUENE: Prices edged lower in line with lower crude values. An offer for May loading was heard at $870/tonne FOB Korea against a bid at $850/tonne FOB Korea.
