US Cereplast seals distribution deal for Chile and Peru

TORONTO (ICIS news)--US bio plastics producer Cereplast has chosen distributor ATSA Chile to supply its resins in Chile and Peru, it said on Tuesday.

Under the deal, ATSA would supply Cereplast’s Compostables and Hybrids Resins brands in those markets, it said.

Financial or volume terms were not disclosed.

ATSA chief executive Enrique Vallejos said demand in the Chilean plastics industry for alternatives to fossil fuel-based resins kept growing.
