SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--S-Oil plans to restart its base oil refinery in Onsan, South Korea late next week, following a maintenance and revamp shutdown at the plant in end February, a company source said on Monday.
The plant would come back on line on 8 April or 9 April, the source said.
The refinery’s capacity would be raised by around 2,000 bpd to 25,000 bdp following the revamp, while its group base oils capacity would be raised by 5,000-6,000 bpd to 15,000-16,000 bpd, he said.
