US Enterprise chairman Duncan unexpectedly dies at 77

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Enterprise Products chairman Dan Duncan died on Sunday at his home in Houston, the US pipeline firm said on Monday.

Duncan, 77, co-founded Enterprise Products in 1968 and took Enterprise Products Partners public in 1998, the company said.

“The entire Enterprise family mourns the unexpected passing of Dan Duncan who will be truly missed,” said Enterprise CEO Michael Creel.

The company did not specify a cause of death.

The chief executive officers of Enterprise Products, Enterprise GP Holdings and Duncan Energy will all continue to serve in their roles, with no changes planned in the ownership or management of those partnerships, the company said.
