GUANGZHOU (ICIS news)--Wuhan Petrochemical, a subsidiary of Chinese petrochemical giant Sinopec, started maintenance on its ?xml:namespace>
Included in the maintenance turnaround that would last 28 days is the company's 800,000 tonne/year catalytic cracker, the company said in a statement.
Its 108,000 tonne/year aromatics unit at the site was running normally, said a company source.
Wuhan Petrochemical, which is based in China's central province of Hubei, is currently building an 800,000 tonne/year naptha cracker due for completion in 2013.
