(ICIS news)--European April benzene contracts have settled up €142/tonne from March at €883/tonne, two consumers and two producers said on Thursday.
“I can confirm I settled with all suppliers at that level”, one of the consumers said.
The settlement was made at a dollar concept of $1,190/tonne FOB (free on board) NWE (northwest ?xml:namespace>
Players had expected a significant increase for April, as spot levels had risen in the past few weeks due to a tight prompt market.
The March contract had been agreed at $999/tonne or €741/tonne.
