Calumet shuts Louisiana lube refinery for two weeks

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--US base oil producer Calumet on Monday shut its Shreveport refinery in Louisiana for two weeks of scheduled maintenance, a company source said.

The facility would be restarted around 20 April, the source said.

Calumet’s Shreveport plant produces around 4,800 bbl/day of Group I base oils, 7,000 bbl/day of Group II base oils and 100 bbl/day of naphthenic base oils.
