SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--India’s Reliance has sold by tender 50,000 tonnes of naphtha to Shell for loading from Sikka on 24-28 April, traders said on Friday.

The cargo fetched a premium of just below $20/tonne (€15) to Middle East quotes, they said.

Reliance expects to restart its cracker complex at Hazira, in Gujarat state, on 18 April following a planned turnaround.

The complex, which includes an 800,000 tonne/year naphtha cracker, a 450,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant and 480,000 tonne/year polyethylene (PE) facility, was shut down late last week for maintenance.
