EVENING SNAPSHOT - Americas Markets Summary

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Here is Thursday’s end of day Americas oil and chemical market summary from ICIS pricing.

CRUDE: May WTI: $85.51/bbl, down 33 cents; Jun Brent: $87.59/bbl, up 69 cents
Crude prices remained in slightly negative territory, either side of $85.45/bbl, during after-hours electronic trading in response to a stronger dollar and mixed economic data. Brent moved up on the first day of the new June front month.

NATURAL GAS: $3.985/MMBtu, down 21.4 cents
Natural gas futures prices dropped with a large build in domestic inventories.

RBOB: $2.3262/gal, down 0.65 cents
Reformulated gasoline blendstock for oxygenate blending (RBOB) futures prices dropped with receding crude oil.

BENZENE: Spot benzene has remained stable all week with price ideas at $3.48-3.54/gal FOB (free on board) US Gulf amid low activity.

ETHYLENE: US ethylene for April was bid at 71.00 cents/lb on Thursday with no offers. April ethylene last traded at 73.00 cents/lb on Monday.

PROPYLENE: Refinery-grade propylene (RGP) was offered at 48.00 cents/lb on Thursday with no bids. RGP was last heard traded at 56.00 cents/lb.
