SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--India's Reliance Industries has sold 50,000 tonnes of naphtha by tender to Shell for lifting from Sikka in the first half of May, traders said on Friday.

The cargo fetched a premium of $23-25/tonne (€17-19/tonne) to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board) for lifting on 8-12 May, they said.

Reliance is scheduled to restart its cracker complex at Hazira, in Gujarat state, on 18 April following maintenance work.

The complex, which includes an 800,000 tonne/year naphtha cracker, a 450,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant and a 480,000 tonne/year polyethylene (PE) facility, was shut down in early April for maintenance.
