At 8:30 GMT on Wednesday, the Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME) June Oman futures contract settled at $83.52/bbl, up 31 cents/bbl on the previous close.
NAPHTHA: First-half June open-spec naphtha rose to $774.50-776.50/tonne CFR (cost and freight) Japan on Wednesday, up $9.50-10.50/tonne from earlier in the day on crude gains and healthy spot naphtha buying. The naphtha crack spread strengthened to $133.725/tonne against Brent crude, the highest since 30 March.
Second-half June was valued at $768.50-770.50/tonne CFR
BENZENE: Prices edged up further in the afternoon to $995-1,005/tonne FOB (free on board)
TOLUENE: Prices firmed to $900-920/tonne FOB
