LONDON (ICIS news)--Dow has lifted force majeure (FM) on ethylene supplies from its Tarragona site in Spain following the arrival of a delayed feedstock shipment, a company source said on Thursday.

The FM was removed on 21 April after the vessel arrived on the evening of 20 April, said the source.

The cracker at the Tarragona site was still running at reduced operations, hampered by technical difficulties, though this was expected to be ramped up this weekend, added the source.

The FM was declared on Friday 16 April, following the culmination of production problems and the delayed vessel.

The cracker has a nameplate capacity of 660,000 tonnes/year for ethylene, according to the ICIS plants and projects database.
