BUENOS AIRES (ICIS news)--Dow Argentina increased its agrochemicals production at a plant in Puerto General San Martin, Santa Fe , a company source said on Thursday.
The company invested $12m (€9m) to increase production of such phytosanitary products as herbicides, insecticides and fungicides.
“With this expansion, the plant will have a nameplate capacity of 40m litres/year of phytosanitary products”, said Rolando Meninato, general manager of Dow Cono Sur.
Dow planned to increase both its market share in Argentina's agrochemicals market and its exports to Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and Chile.
