US Hexion completes tackifier plant in Georgia

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--US resin producer Hexion Specialty Chemicals completed a plant in Baxley, Georgia, that will produce its Snowtack water-based tackifier, a raw material used in adhesives, the company said on Monday.

Snowtack is solvent-free and made with a rosin ester, Hexion said.

Hexion did not disclose either the cost or the capacity of the plant.
