LONDON (ICIS news)-- Dow Chemical is planning to temporarily close its 35,000 tonne/year styrene acrylonitrile (SAN) plant in Terneuzen, the Netherlands, a company source said on Tuesday.

The shutdown, due to a minor mechanical issue, will commence on 23 May for three weeks, the source said.

“We don’t expect any major difficulties fulfilling orders,” the producer added.
