SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Aromatics producer, Japan Energy, plans to shutdown its Kashima-based plant producing benzene and paraxylene (PX) next week for scheduled maintenance, a company source said late on Thursday.
The unit producing 190,000 tonnes/year of benzene and about 420,000 tonnes/year of PX would be shut for about two months, he added.
