LONDON (ICIS news)--The first European June styrene barge contract has been agreed at €1,072/tonne ($1,307/tonne), down €73/tonne from the May contract, one seller and one buyer said on Wednesday.

According to the buyer involved, the settlement had to reflect current spot levels.

“We have also seen a decrease on raw materials, and availability seems to be better at the moment,” the buyer added.

The settlement was made on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis.
