SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Borouge has awarded a United Arab Emirates (UAE) dirhams (Dh) 260m ($70.78m) contract to Abu Dhabi-based Associated Construction & Investments Company (ASCON) to build its new innovation centre, the plastics producer said in a statement on Monday.
“The contract includes the construction of a training centre for the Gulf Plastic Pipes Academy (GPPA),” the company said.

Borouge is a joint venture (JV) between Borealis, a major provider of chemical and plastics solutions, and oil major, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).
ASCON is the civil arm of the ETA-ASCON Group.
