LONDON (ICIS news)--Dow Chemical has started a planned turnaround for most of its polyols operations at its site at Terneuzen, the Netherlands, a company source said on Wednesday.

The unit was taken off line over the weekend of 5-6 June and approximately 500,000 tonnes of its overall 570,000 tonne/year polyols nameplate capacity were subject to the current maintenance work, the source said.

“We are on sales control for all polyols and will remain so through July due to the tight supply situation, added another company source.
