LONDON (ICIS news)--European acetic acid contracts for the second quarter have settled up by €10/tonne ($12/tonne) at the low end versus the previous quarter, producers and customers said on Friday.

A rollover to an increase of €10/tonne had been agreed in most instances, sources said.

The acetic acid contracts settled between €480-540/tonne ($578 -651/tonne) FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest Europe), industry sources confirmed.

The largely unchanged range was said to be a result of a balanced demand/supply situation most players agreed.

($1 = €0.83)
