HOUSTON (ICIS news)--US weekly fuel ethanol inventories rose by nearly 5% to 19.4m bbl (815m gal) in the week ended 18 June, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday.
US ethanol production last week averaged 846,000 bbl/day, a 1% increase from 839,000 bbl/day the week ended 11 June.
US ethanol production in June has averaged 841,000 bbl/day, a figure that puts total output for the month at around 1.06bn gal.
The US produced 1.10bn gal of ethanol in March, the last month for which data is available.
No ethanol imports were recorded last week.
The EIA releases fuel ethanol data on production, stocks and imports every Wednesday.
