HOUSTON (ICIS news)--US propylene inventories rose by 1% in the week ended 25 June despite US refineries running slower, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday.
Refinery-sourced propylene stockpiles last week stood at 3.224m bbl, up from 3.188m bbl in the week ended 18 June.
US refineries last week operated at 88.4% of capacity, down from 89.4% a week earlier, according to EIA data.
Non-fuel use propylene, as defined by the EIA, is intended for petrochemical manufacturing, including polymer and chemical-grade propylene.
