HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Anticipation of the World Cup football championships to be played in Brazil in 2014 is increasing what is already optimistic market sentiment in the nation's plastic markets, sources said on Friday.

The effects of the World Cup could be felt in the four years leading up to the championships, as new construction and other infrastructure projects get underway, market participants said.
