The Best Product Innovation category is again sponsored by US-based consultancy CRA International, while the category for Innovation with Best Environmental Benefit is sponsored for the first time this year by North American chemical distributor US Chemicals.
Awards organiser John Baker, global editor for custom publishing at ICIS, commented: “The economic downturn does not seem to have stymied chemical companies’ innovation efforts, in the short term at least. Entries maintained their usual high standard.”
