LONDON (ICIS)--A second European August styrene barge contract has rolled over at €975/tonne ($1,266/tonne), one seller and one buyer said on Monday.
Although the settlement was up by €2/tonne from the published July barge settlement, the pair of settlers involved said it represented a rollover for them.
The figure was agreed on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis between a new pair of public contract settlers.
“We agreed to hold our July contract price to August of €975/tonne,” said the buyer involved in the settlement.
According to the supplier, its key concern was to bring some stability to the market following an initial August barge settlement at €995/tonne.
