TORONTO (ICIS)--Jos van Winsen is due to become head of PCK Schwedt, a spokeswoman for the German refining and petrochemicals joint venture near Berlin said on Thursday.

Van Winsen was expected to soon take over as general manager from Klaus Niemann, but the precise date for the handover had yet to be determined, Vica Fajnor told ICIS. She was confirming a regional media report.

Van Winsen would join PCK Schwedt from Shell, where he was in charge of operations in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Markische Oderzeitung reported that Nieman would join BP’s Russian joint venture, TNK BP, where he would be in charge of improving operations at six refineries in Russia and the Ukraine.

PCK’s owners include BP, Shell, Total, Italy's Eni and Venezuela’s PdVSA.
