US June ammonia imports increased 36%

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US imports of anhydrous ammonia in June rose 36% year over year, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) said on Wednesday.

Of the 602,332 tonnes of ammonia imported during June, 415,871 tonnes were imported from Trinidad.

Canada, Russia and Ukraine were also suppliers of material.

From January through June, imports totalled 3.2m, up 20% year over year.
