SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea's Honam Petrochemical Corp plans to shut its 320,000 tonne/year linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) plant at Daesan in early September for a scheduled maintenance turnaround, a company source said on Friday.
"The maintenance [shutdown] is expected to take around five days," he said.
The producer had cut its September export allocations by 50% as a result of the turnaround, the source said.
