LONDON (ICIS)--UK-based consultancy International eChem (IeC) has appointed Ralf Kuhlmann as a senior vice president, effective from 1 September 2010, it said on Tuesday.
Kuhlmann was previously business director of basic chemicals at ExxonMobil Europe, where he was responsible for marketing and sales, planning, feedstock, and supply chain optimisation for the European petrochemicals business, IeC said.
“Ralf will focus on assisting clients in long-term strategic assignments, including management and M&A support, as well as in the key area of operational and management integration,” said Paul Hodges, IeC chairman.
Kuhlmann was also the president of the Association of Petrochemical Producers in Europe (APPE), as well as a member of CEFIC’s energy, health, safety and environment (HS&E) and logistics programme council.
