Taiwan’s CPC seeks 5,000-10,000 tonnes MTBE for Nov/Dec

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s CPC Corp has tendered to buy 5,000-10,000 tonnes of methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) for delivery in November and December, market players said on Thursday.

The cargoes are for delivery into Keelung or Kaohsiung, they said.

The tender closes on Thursday.

CPC last bought by tender 15,000 tonnes of MTBE for delivery in September and October, at a premium of $10-15/tonne (€8-12/tonne) to Singapore quotes FOB (free on board).
