SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Jilin Petrochemical Co, a subsidiary of Petrochina, reduced the operating rates at its 240,000 tonne/year oxo-alcohols facility to 50% on Tuesday while the plant undergoes a catalyst change, market sources said on Friday.
The operating rates at the facility in northeastern China would be kept at 50% for around two weeks, the sources added.
The oxo-alcohols facility has a nameplate capacity of 120,000 tonnes/year of 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH) and 120,000 tonnes/year of n-butanol (NBA).
