US fuel ethanol stocks up 0.8% at 17.87m bbl - EIA

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US fuel ethanol stocks climbed to 17.87m bbl (751m gal) in the week ended 10 September from a week earlier, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday.

Ethanol production as assessed by the EIA last week averaged 872,000 bbl/day, a 0.3% drop from 875,000 bbl/day in the previous week.

US ethanol production in August averaged 854,000 bbl/day, up from 836,000 bbl/day in July, according to EIA data.
